The four turbocharged Saab 9-3 and one normally aspirated petrol engines are all incredibly responsive. The turbos provide power from low revs and are immensely quiet and easy to drive in urban traffic. The engines are made largely from aluminium which contributes to the car’s exceptional balance and alert response on the road. Turbocharged engines come with Saab Trionic, one of the world’s most advanced management systems which allows increased responsiveness and perfect harmony on the move.

The turbodiesel
Faster, smoother, cleaner, quieter, and more economical. It’s the result of the second generation common-rail technology used in our two new urbodiesel engines. If you’re into sporty diesel performance, choose the 1.9 TiD 150 bhp engine. With a maximum torque of 320 Nm, you can imagine what it feels like to drive.
