Our performance brake discs feature slots and dimples: Slots: a wider slot draws cool air across the pad surface to keep the discs and pads cooler. Additionally, they expel dust, dirt and hot gasses more effectively than fine slots (that eventually fill with rust to become less effective) Dimples: The 'blind drilled' holes are designed to break down surface gasses when braking from speed, but not to compromise the strength of the disc (as is possible with 'through drilling').
