upgrade works by safely exploiting more power, from the well-engineered
Saab engine, by using a remapped ECU program, free-flowing air filter
and, dependent upon stage upgrade, exhaust components. This
upgrade option includes PPC (Portable Program Carrier) developed by
BSR. The PPC unit connects to the Saab's diagnostic connector (OBD-II)
under the steering wheel. The PPC unit checks the software IDs and
after approximately 30 minutes the Stage program software is downloaded
to the ECU. Turn the key and drive away. To revert to the original
software, just repeat the operation.
