BSR is a leading Swedish tuning company specialising in performance and tuning upgrades that enhance the potential of the Saab engine to provide increased performance without sacrificing normal drivability.
The upgrade works by safely exploiting more power, from the well-engineered Saab engine, by using a remapped ECU program.
 BSR upgrades offer fantastic value for money and the upgrading of the ECU software is easy. The process is performed by the PPC2 unit and can be conducted from the driver's seat, the upgrade process taking approximately six minutes.
The upgrade comprises your own PPC2 unit in conjunction with your standard ECU. There is no requirement to remove the ECU in order to upgrade or revert to the original software programme. PPC software updates can be downloaded via a dedicated website thus guaranteeing that are always running the latest version of your software.
This upgrade option includes PPC2 (Portable Program Carrier) developed by BSR. The PPC2 unit connects to the Saab's diagnostic connector (OBD-II) under the steering wheel. The PPC2 unit checks the software IDs and the Stage program software is downloaded to the ECU. Turn the key and drive away. To revert to the original software, just repeat the operation.
