Earlier Saab 9-5 (and Saab 9-3 Trionic 7) 4-cyl models are renowned for PCV hose failures. Hoses become soft and may collapse.
Under some circumstances the crankcase ventilation pass-through is to low. Therefore oil leakage can occur. A good crank case ventilation is necessary to avoid high oil consumption.
This kit is suitable for Saab 9-5 models with 2.0 or 2.3 4-cyl petrol engines, model years 1998 to 2003 and for Saab classic 9-3 model years 2000 to 2002 (2003 on convertible). (Note: NOT for 9-3 Sports models)
This kit comprises:
- Nipple
- Insulation
- Hose kit (x 2)
- Oil filler pipe
- Oil trap
- Cable tie (x 2)
- Bushing
