The Elksport Saab 9-3 intercooler was specially commissioned by, and designed in conjunction with, a leading performance intercooler specialist with racing heritage.
The Elksport 9-3 intercooler is a straight replacement for Saab 9-3 Trionic 5 Sport (M99), all Trionic 7 (M00-02) and diesel models.
Our intercooler, finished with aluminium end tanks and houses the largest core size that we could fit in the space available. The core measures 80mm deep, 600mm wide and 160mm tall.
The standard Saab crossflow intercooler (as used on Sport, Viggen, diesel and all Saab 9-3 Trionic 7 models) has been calculated to flow 80cfm. By comparison, the Elksport IC flows 135cfm.
This intercooler flows approaching twice the capacity as the standard Saab unit, provides greater cooling and sharper throttle response for smooth and rapid acceleration.
